Hardware and software for people who'd rather own their stack.
An independent technology company incorporated in 2024, building two things, carefully: a home server that publishes your business website from your shelf, and a pocket-sized developer console for your phone.
Jowb Server
A home server in two forms — a shelf-top Box you drive from your phone, or a 10.1″ Touch you drive on its own screen. Publish a commercial website in minutes; your data never leaves your hands — and it’s protected by quantum-resistant cryptography.
Explore the hardware →JS Shell
A pocket-sized developer console for iOS and Android. Paste HTML, run it on a real local origin, test WebRTC, fetch, camera and microphone APIs on your device.
Explore the software →Small, focused, yours.
JOWB Inc. is an independent technology company founded in July 2024 by engineers with deep, senior experience across software, hardware, cryptography, and AI. We design and ship lightweight tools that help people build, test, debug, and explore on their own devices — without renting someone else's computer. No analytics. No tracking SDKs. No accounts you didn't ask for.
Privacy by architecture
Our products don't collect, store, or transmit personal data — not because of a promise, but because the data physically stays on hardware you own.
Control, in hand
The screen you're holding is the control room — your phone for the Box and JS Shell, or the Touch's own 10.1″ display. No keyboard, no panel maze, no separate Mac required.
Built to grow
Start with one box and one app. Add nodes as business grows. Hardware and software from the same company, designed to work as one system.
At home on any shelf.
No server room, no rack, no fan noise. Jowb Server disappears into your living room — and your whole business runs from your pocket.
Stop renting your business. Own it.
A box on your shelf. A console in your pocket. All data in your hands.
Your business website, served from home.
One server, two forms: a quiet shelf-top Box you control from your phone, or a self-contained 10.1″ Touch you control right on its screen. Pick a template and publish a beautiful commercial site in minutes.
Same server. Two ways to hold it.
Box and Touch run identical JowbOS builds on identical octa-core internals — choose how you want to control it. One is a single unit; Pro is a factory-paired pair with mutual backup. Box and Touch mix freely, in a Pro pair or in a cluster.
Jowb Server Box
A set-top-box-sized unit with no screen of its own — it disappears onto a shelf and is driven entirely from the Jowb app on your phone.
- Controlled from your phone, anywhere
- Smallest footprint, lowest cost per node
- The natural building block for clusters
Jowb Server Touch
The same server behind a 10.1″ multi-touch display. Unbox it, tap through setup, build and publish — all on its own screen. No phone required; the app stays optional for remote control.
- Everything on its own screen — zero pairing
- Doubles as a live dashboard on your counter
- Great for shops without a "tech person"
A whole hosting company, the size of a router.
Jowb Server replaces template builders, hosting plans, and cloud lock-in with one quiet box in your living room.
Control, your way
The Box is driven entirely from the Jowb app on your phone. The Touch puts the same controls on its own 10.1″ screen — no phone required. Either way: no keyboard, no SSH, no panel maze.
Your data, your hardware
Sites, orders, customers, media — all stored on the device you own. Keys are generated with quantum-resistant algorithms, sealed inside the device's hardware trust anchor, and never leave it.
Grows with your business
One box serves a small shop. Need more concurrent customers — or zero downtime? Add a second unit (that's exactly what a Pro pair is) or more; they discover each other, back each other up, and share the load automatically.
Build your commercial site, as easily as choosing a wallpaper.
Pick from professionally designed templates — boutique, café, agency, spa, portfolio, e-commerce and more. Swap photos and text from your phone, attach your own domain, and hit publish. Jowb Server handles TLS certificates, global reachability through encrypted relays, and automatic backups, all by itself.
✓ rendering 14 pages … done (1.8s)
✓ TLS issued · boutique.jowb.site
✓ custom domain linked · yourshop.com
✓ encrypted backup → local vault
status: LIVE · uptime 99.99% · node-01
From cardboard box to open-for-business in four steps.
Plug it in
Power and Ethernet (or Wi-Fi). The status light turns amber while it boots, green when it's ready.
Pair — or just tap
Box: open the Jowb app and scan the code on the bottom — an end-to-end encrypted channel binds phone to server. Touch: nothing to pair; setup runs right on its screen.
Pick a template
Boutique, café, design agency, spa — choose a starting point and make it yours with your photos, menu, prices, and brand.
Publish
One tap. Your site is live on the internet, served from your home, reachable worldwide, backed up locally.
Designed for real businesses.
Every template ships with the pages a working business needs — storefront, booking, menu, contact — not just a pretty landing page.
Plus: Portfolio, Restaurant, Salon, Gym, Photographer, Consultant, Event, and a blank canvas for when you'd rather start from zero.
The box, in the wild.
Safe, reliable, and quietly paranoid.
Most website builders hold your business hostage on someone else's cloud. Jowb Server is built the other way around: the device is the root of trust, and you hold the device.
- ✓Quantum-resistant by design
Device identity, software updates, backups and the control channel are built on NIST-track post-quantum algorithms — so the keys protecting your business won't be broken by tomorrow's quantum computers, and traffic recorded today can't be decrypted later.
- ✓Hardware-rooted keys
Signing and encryption keys are generated inside the device's secure environment and sealed to that specific unit — they can't be copied off, even by us.
- ✓End-to-end encrypted control
Your phone and your server talk over an authenticated, encrypted peer-to-peer channel. Relays only forward ciphertext; they can't read or alter anything.
- ✓Tamper- and rollback-resistant
A verified boot chain and monotonic anti-rollback counters mean the box only runs software you can trust, and old compromised states can't be replayed.
- ✓Local, encrypted backups
Snapshots are encrypted on-device. Restore to a new unit with your recovery kit — no cloud account required.

Start with one box. Grow into a fleet.
Jowb Servers cluster automatically. Each new node multiplies how many customers you can serve at once — and your sites keep running even if one unit goes offline.
Plug in a new unit → it joins your cluster in under a minute. Zero config, zero downtime.
A pocket-sized developer console.
Paste HTML, run it on a real local origin, test WebRTC, fetch, camera and microphone APIs directly on your device — without spinning up a separate Mac or remote server. Available on iOS and Android.
> fetch('/api/ping')
← 200 OK · 12ms
> navigator.mediaDevices
.getUserMedia({video:true})
← MediaStream active
> new RTCPeerConnection()
← ICE: connected
> peer.connect('jowb-node-01')

A real browser engine. Your rules.
JS Shell gives the web platform back to you as a tool — every API, on a genuine local origin, on the device in your hand.
Paste & run HTML
Drop in any HTML/JS and execute it instantly on a real local origin — not a sandbox toy. Secure-context APIs behave exactly as they would in production.
WebRTC & fetch testing
Stand up RTCPeerConnections, inspect ICE candidates, fire fetch requests and read raw responses — straight from your pocket, on real networks.
Camera, mic & sensors
Test getUserMedia, geolocation, and speech recognition against the device's real hardware. Permissions are invoked only when your code asks.
Saved scripts & snippets
Keep a library of test harnesses, polyfills and experiments. Everything is stored locally in the app sandbox — organize, duplicate, export.
Key-value store
A persistent on-device store your scripts can read and write — perfect for tokens, fixtures and state between runs. Exportable, and never synced anywhere.
P2P terminal for Jowb Server
Open an end-to-end encrypted terminal to any Jowb Server you own — multiple simultaneous connections, each with its own indexed session.
Built for the moments a laptop is too far away.
- ✓Web developers on the move
Reproduce that mobile-only bug on the actual device, on the actual network, the moment it's reported.
- ✓API & backend engineers
Poke endpoints, inspect headers, and script multi-step requests from anywhere — no Postman, no laptop.
- ✓WebRTC & networking people
Real cellular NATs, real Wi-Fi captive portals, real ICE behavior — the conditions you can't simulate at a desk.
- ✓Jowb Server owners
Power users get a direct, encrypted line into their own hardware. Tail logs, run maintenance, check cluster state from a beach chair.
Shipping steadily since 2025.

Five-minute guides for the big four.
First-time setup & pairing
- Connect power and Ethernet (or plan to use Wi-Fi). Wait for the status light to turn from amber to green (~90 seconds on first boot).
- Install the Jowb app from the App Store or Google Play and tap Add device.
- Scan the QR code on the bottom plate. This performs a key exchange directly with the device's hardware vault — the pairing secret never touches our servers.
- Name your server, optionally join Wi-Fi, and you're in. The dashboard shows uptime, bandwidth and hosted sites.
Jowb Server Touch: skip steps 2–3 — setup runs on the device's own screen. Pairing the app afterwards is optional, for remote control.
Connecting a custom domain
- In the app: Site → Domains → Add custom domain and type your domain.
- At your registrar, create the two records the app shows you — a
CNAMEto your relay endpoint and aTXTownership proof. - Tap Verify. TLS certificates are issued and renewed automatically; nothing else to do, ever.
Adding a node to your cluster
- Plug the new unit into power and the same network (different sites in your home are fine too — nodes find each other over the encrypted relay).
- In the app: Cluster → Add node, scan the new unit's QR code.
- That's it. Load balancing and failover are automatic; the dashboard shows per-node traffic within a minute.
Backups & restoring to a new unit
- Backups are on by default: encrypted snapshots are written to internal storage nightly, and to the microSD card if one is inserted (recommended — keep it somewhere safe).
- Your recovery kit card (in the box) holds the recovery phrase that can decrypt those snapshots. Store it like cash.
- To restore: on a new unit, choose Restore from backup during setup, insert the microSD (or point at a connected drive), and enter the recovery phrase.
- Sites, settings and data come back; the new unit re-seals everything under its own hardware keys.
When the light isn't green.
Status light stays amber for more than 5 minutes
Status light is red
My site is slow for visitors far away
The app can't find my server after a router change
I lost my recovery kit card
Two years, plain terms.
30-day returns
Return any Jowb Server within 30 days of delivery for a full refund. Run the in-app factory reset first — it destroys the device's sealed keys, making your data unrecoverable by design.
2-year limited hardware warranty
We repair or replace units with manufacturing defects for two years from delivery (three years for Cluster deployments). The warranty covers the device, power adapter and included accessories. It does not cover liquid damage, physical abuse, or units with a tampered enclosure — the tamper seal exists to protect the security promises we make you.
Your data during RMA
Keys cannot leave the secure hardware, so we cannot read your data during service — and neither can anyone else. Restore to your replacement unit from your encrypted backup and recovery phrase (Guide 04).
To start a return or warranty claim, email contact@jowb.com with your order number and serial.
An engineering company in the desert.
JOWB Inc. is an independent hardware and software company, incorporated in July 2024 and headquartered in Las Vegas, Nevada. We design and ship lightweight utilities that help people test, debug, build, and explore on their own devices — without spinning up a separate Mac or renting a remote server.
Engineers first. Incorporated second.
JOWB Inc. was incorporated in July 2024 — but the founders and team had already spent careers shipping at exactly the intersection our products live on. Jowb Server and JS Shell exist because this team wanted them to exist for themselves first.
- ✓Software
Distributed systems, peer-to-peer networking, and the unglamorous craft of software that runs for years untouched.
- ✓Hardware
Embedded systems, secure boot chains, and silicon-level trust anchors — the discipline that makes "your data stays on your device" a fact, not a slogan.
- ✓Cryptography
Applied cryptography from TLS to post-quantum signatures, designed into the architecture from day one rather than bolted on at the end.
- ✓AI
Machine-learning experience applied where it earns its keep — site generation, layout, and tooling. Never surveillance.
Why "own your stack"?
Because the alternative is paying rent forever on infrastructure you'll never control, with your customers' data as the security deposit. We think small businesses deserve the same sovereignty over their digital storefront that they have over their physical one.
How we work
A small senior team — software, hardware, cryptography, and AI under one roof — with long timelines and few products. We'd rather ship one device and one app that are genuinely finished than a portfolio of half-things. Hardware and software are designed together, in-house, as one system.
Where we are
Headquartered in Las Vegas, Nevada, USA. Reach us at contact@jowb.com or by text at +1 (702) 763-1288 (SMS only), Pacific Time business hours.
We can't sell what we never collect.
LAST UPDATED: APRIL 27, 2026
JOWB and its apps do not collect, store, or transmit personal user data. There are no analytics, no tracking SDKs, no advertising identifiers, no accounts, and no third-party services beyond the platform-provided frameworks described below.
Permissions
Some apps include features that require device-level permissions — camera, microphone, location, speech recognition, and local network access. These permissions are used only by functionality the user explicitly invokes (for example, loading a web page that calls getUserMedia() or navigator.geolocation). The app itself does not capture, read, or transmit camera frames, microphone audio, or location data. Such data is delivered directly to the user's own in-app content (e.g. a web page running in the embedded WebView) and does not leave the device unless the user themselves sends it, for example by typing a network request command.
Location
Location access, when granted, is forwarded to the embedded WebView for standard navigator.geolocation calls made by user-loaded pages. JOWB does not read, store, log, or transmit location data, and the app performs no background location monitoring.
Speech recognition
Speech recognition, when used, is processed via the platform's speech framework. Audio is handled by the platform provider under its privacy terms; JOWB does not receive, store, or log audio recordings or transcripts.
Local data
User-created content (HTML/JS pasted into the app, saved scripts, key-value entries, and sites built on Jowb Server) is stored locally inside the app's sandbox or on your own device. It is included in standard device backups if the user has those enabled, exactly like any other app data. JOWB has no access to it.
Jowb Server & the relay network
Traffic between your phone, your visitors, and your Jowb Server may pass through our encrypted relay network for reachability. Relays forward ciphertext only: they cannot read, store, or modify your content, and we keep no logs of site content or visitor behavior. Your sites' data lives exclusively on hardware you own.
Children
Our apps are not directed at children under 13 and do not knowingly collect data from anyone, including children.
Changes
If this policy changes materially, we will update the date above and post a notice on this page. Questions? Email contact@jowb.com.
Short, because we mean it.

1. Who we are
"JOWB", "we" and "us" mean JOWB Inc., a Nevada corporation incorporated in July 2024, headquartered in Las Vegas, Nevada.
2. What you're buying
Jowb Server hardware is sold, not licensed — it's yours. JowbOS and JOWB apps are licensed for use on your devices; you may not redistribute them, but you may use them for any lawful purpose, commercial or personal.
3. Your content
Everything you publish through Jowb Server is yours. You're responsible for it being lawful in the places you do business. We may disconnect relay service for content that is illegal under U.S. law; your hardware and data remain yours and functional on your own network regardless.
4. Service
The relay network, updates, and subdomain service are provided as included features for the life of the device, on a best-effort basis. We target — and have historically exceeded — 99.9% relay availability, but we're a focused engineering company, not an insurer.
5. Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, our liability is limited to what you paid us. Nevada law governs; venue is Clark County, Nevada.
